At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles northeast of Southern Pines, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Vass, Cameron, Olivia, Timberlake, and Pineview.
