The combination of very warm temperatures in the mid to upper 80s along with high dewpoints in the lower to mid 70s will result in heat index values approaching or slightly exceeding 95 degrees in northern parts of the Capital District, upper Hudson Valley into Bennington and northern Berkshire counties this afternoon.
