FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Southeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico. * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 443 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain moving slowly north across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen around Placitas and along Reservation Road 53 above San Felipe Pueblo. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible with a second round of storms moving into the area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Bernalillo, Corrales, Santa Ana Pueblo, Coronado State Monument, Sandia Pueblo, San Felipe Pueblo, Placitas and Algodones. This includes the following highways. Highway 550 between Mile Markers 1 and 2. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 236 and 253.

Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico. * Until 800 PM MDT. * At 507 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain moving northward across the warned area. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen over parts of Santa Fe. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.25 inches are possible as a second round of storms moves into the warned area around 6 PM. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Santa Fe, Tesuque, La Cienega, Canada De Los Alamos, Rio En Medio in Santa Fe County, La Bajada, Agua Fria and Chupadero. This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 271 and 288.
