Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Missouri River at Plattsmouth. * WHEN. Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 27.0 feet, Minor flooding is occurring in the parking lots near the gauge site and boat ramp. In addition, a private camping area just upstream of the gauge site begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.7 feet. or 0.7 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 29.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 16.8 feet Sunday, July 14. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
