* WHAT. Flooding caused by heavy downpours occurring in thunderstorms is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Christian, Greene and Stone. * WHEN. Until midnight CDT tonight. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 757 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings. Bull Creek at Center Road, Wilson's Creek at Old Limey Road, Parchcorn Creek at Smyrna Road, Swan Creek at Swan Cave Road, Finley River at Johns Ford Road, Green Valley Creek at Holder RD and Woods Fork at Woods Fork Road. As thunderstorms are still ongoing, additional flooding may still be possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Southeastern Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Highlandville, Clever, Sparta, Billings, Fremont Hills, Brookline, Spokane, Selmore, Christian Center, Boaz, Ponce de Leon, Linden, Chestnutridge, Chadwick, Oldfield, Bruner, Garrison and Keltner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
