The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon and then crest near 22.5 feet Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Dardenne Creek at St. Peters. * WHEN. From early this morning to Thursday morning. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Near this height, a levee may begin overtopping near the railroad tracks at Highway C, threatening the Salt River Landscaping facility. Also, a residence north of Mexico Road begins flooding near this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 3:00 AM CST Tuesday the stage was 18.1 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:00 AM CST Tuesday was 18.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.8 feet this afternoon. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. A number of roads remain closed due to flooding of creeks and streams and due to poor drainage. * WHERE. A portion of east central Missouri, including the following counties, Franklin and Jefferson. * WHEN. Until 800 PM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 155 PM CST, local law enforcement reported a number of roads remain closed due to flooding in the warned area. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Wildwood, Arnold, Washington, Festus, Union, Eureka, Sullivan, Pacific, Pevely, Crystal City, St. Clair, Herculaneum, Hillsboro, Byrnes Mill, Villa Ridge, Gray Summit, Cedar Hill, High Ridge, Antonia and Murphy.
