The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Iowa. Skunk River at Augusta affecting Henry IA, Lee and Des Moines Counties. * WHAT. Flooding is possible. * WHERE. Skunk River at Augusta. * WHEN. From Thursday afternoon to late Friday evening. * IMPACTS. At 15.0 feet, Water overflows the south river bank near the Perkins Road bridge at Augusta. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 6.1 feet. - Forecast. Flood stage may be reached Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Portions of north central and northeast Missouri, including the following counties, in north central Missouri, Chariton, Daviess, Grundy, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Mercer, Putnam, Randolph and Sullivan. In northeast Missouri, Adair and Schuyler. * WHEN. Until 730 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1019 AM CDT, 2 to 6 inches of rain fell during the overnight hours. Runoff from this rainfall has resulted in numerous road closures across the warned area due to flooding. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Kirksville, Chillicothe, Trenton, Macon, Brookfield, Marceline, Milan, Unionville, La Plata, Lancaster, Bevier, Green City, Queen City, Jamesport, Bucklin, Meadville, Novinger, Greentop, Atlanta and Laclede. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
