St Croix River at Stillwater affecting St. Croix, Pierce and Washington Counties. .Due to dry weather over the last few days, river levels in western MN have trended downward. Meanwhile, downstream river gage levels have increase or will continue to increase due the arrival of additional flow. Rain chances are likely over the next several days, but widespread, significant rainfall does not appear likely at this time. Rivers area-wide should decrease as a result. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. St Croix River at Stillwater. * WHEN. From this evening to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 89.0 feet, The city park in Bayport begins flooding. Lake Mallalieu dam gates overtopped. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1000 AM CDT Thursday, the stage was 86.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 88.0 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 87.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 87.9 feet on 06/28/1993.
