Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner Saginaw Bay. * Until 845 PM EDT. * At 637 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 20 nm northwest of Bay City Liberty Harbor to 7 nm southwest of Pinconning to 12 nm west of Linwood, moving east at 20 knots. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Severe thunderstorms will be near. Pinconning around 645 PM EDT. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Saginaw, Bay City, Kawkawlin, Zilwaukee, and Bridgeport around 715 PM EDT. Essexville around 720 PM EDT. Munger around 730 PM EDT. Birch Run around 735 PM EDT. Frankenmuth around 740 PM EDT. Reese around 745 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Swan Creek, Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, Carrollton, Garfield, Fosters, Arthur, Burt, Buena Vista Township, Gera, and Bay City State Recreation Area.
