* WHAT. High wave action, strong currents, and dangerous swimming conditions expected. Piers may be heavily swamped by waves. * WHERE. Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan and Van Buren counties. * WHEN. From 10 PM EDT this evening through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS. Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Northwest winds will make beaches on the north sides of north piers particularly dangerous.

* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 346 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The first round of showers and thunderstorms produced 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain. A second round of storms was moving in as of 346 am. These storms could generate another 1.0 to locally 2.0 inches of rain. This will likely lead to urban and poor drainage flooding. Rises can be expected on the area small rivers and streams including the Macatawa, Rabbit, Buck and Plaster basins. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven, Hastings, Allegan, South Haven, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, Grandville, East Grand Rapids, Hudsonville, Zeeland, Coopersville, Wayland, Otsego, Plainwell, Lowell, Middleville and Ferrysburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 540 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The heaviest rain will likely shift east of the region by 700 am. Radar estimates that 1.5 to 3.0 inches of rain fell over much of the advisory area. Thus some urban and poor drainage flooding is likely occurring, especially over Allegan and northern Van Buren Counties. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Holland, Allegan, South Haven, Zeeland, Wayland, Otsego, Plainwell, Middleville, Bangor, Caledonia, Fennville, Saugatuck, Freeport, Martin, Beechwood, Gull Lake, Holland SP, Van Buren SP, Dorr and Alamo. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo and Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 750 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated than heavy rain had fallen over the advisory area. Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches were common in the advisory area. This will cause minor urban and small stream flooding. - No additional heavy rain is expected this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
