The areas affected include. Chesapeake Bay from North Beach to Drum Point MD. Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD. Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River. Eastern Bay. At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm northwest of Annapolis to 8 nm southeast of Fort Washington to near Smallwood State Park, moving east at 30 knots.
