* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of North Central, Northern, and West Central Maine, including the following counties, in North Central Maine, Piscataquis. In Northern Maine, Aroostook. In West Central Maine, Somerset. * WHEN. Until 1230 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 924 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Allagash, Clayton Lake, Saint Pamphile, Deboullie Mountain, Lac Frontiere, Daaquam, Saint Juste, Churchill Dam, Allagash Township, Nine-mile Bridge, Dickey, Fish River Lake, Round Pond, Saint Francis and Saint John. - For flood safety visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood
