Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Thunderstorms will develop in the tropical atmosphere early this morning and slowly move across the area. The possibility exists that storms may repeat over the same areas producing excessive rainfall through this evening. Rainfall rates may approach 2 inches per hour.

At 17.0 feet, Many storm sewers are closed along the Cedar River. At 18.0 feet, The access road to wastewater treatment plant is closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Monday morning to a crest of 18.0 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
