ESFIND We continue to monitor the potential impacts of the remnants of Hurricane Beryl for central Indiana. Confidence is increasing in rain amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches along the Wabash River with a high end threat for as much as 4 inches. The higher end scenario would bring minor flooding to portions of the Wabash River and associated tributaries along with isolated flash flooding. Stay weather aware this week and monitor for any possible flood watches or warnings.

ESFIWX The potential of heavy rain is expected to increase this week as the remnants of tropical system Beryl lift across the western Great Lakes or Ohio River Valley. An initial round of scattered showers and thunderstorms is possible Monday night into early Tuesday. The greater potential of heavy rainfall is Tuesday night into Wednesday night. Confidence remains low on the exact track of this system and the resulting axis of heaviest rainfall. However, the potential does exist for some locations to receive heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches from Tuesday night through Wednesday, with locally higher amounts possible. Heavy rainfall could lead to areal flooding concerns and rises on rivers across the area during the middle and latter portions of this week. If higher precipitation amounts in the forecasted range occur, some river flooding would also be possible. A good deal of uncertainty persists regarding the track of this system, so stay weather aware over the next several days and monitor forecast updates along with the potential for any flood watches and warnings.
