Coastal Colleton and Charleston Counties. * WHEN. From 4 PM this afternoon to 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS. This could result in some roads becoming impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. High tide will occur around 6:06 PM today at Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.

High tide will occur around 6:08 PM today at Fort Pulaski. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.

The areas affected include. Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM. Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary. Gusty northeast winds of 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots will impact areas around Tybee Island, Calibogue Sound and the Savannah River Entrance through late afternoon as a cold front meanders just to the south of Tybee Island. Small craft should avoid this area given the expected rough and gusty conditions.
