Conditions will be favorable for the development of waterspouts across the nearshore coastal waters of Southeast South Carolina south of Edisto, SC and across nearshore waters of Southeast Georgia this morning. The risk will be highest along lines of towering clouds as well as boundaries near showers and thunderstorms. Conditions will become less favorable for waterspout development by late morning.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following counties, Bryan, Chatham and Liberty. * WHEN. Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 745 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Keller, Belfast, Oak Level, Sweet Hill and Ossabaw Island.
