SMWMLB The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm. Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm. * Until 500 PM EDT. * At 322 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 14 nm west of Titusville to near Canaveral Groves to near Rockledge, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible. * Locations impacted include. Port Saint John, Lagrange, Mims, Bellwood, and Canaveral Groves.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida. St Johns River Near Astor affecting Volusia and Lake Counties. .River levels at Astor are forecast to very slowly decline through Minor Flood Stage into next week. Any additional rainfall over the river basin could slow the river's decline. For the St. Johns River. including Astor. Minor flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued this evening at 1100 PM EDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. St Johns River near Astor. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 2.3 feet, Many docks become submerged along the river and in canals in the Astor community. Water enters yards of properties on Bartram Road, Holiday Circle and along Wild Hog Road on the Lake County side. In Volusia County, water encroaches yards of homes on the river side of Alice Drive. No wake zones are in effect from near the South Moon Canal to approximately 800 feet south of the Riverview lodge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 2.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM EDT Saturday was 2.7 feet. - Forecast.
