St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. .River levels at Astor are forecast to very slowly decline through the weekend, possibly dropping to near Action Stage by mid next week. However, additional heavy rain upstream into early next week could slow the river's decline, and may even lead to additional rises. For the St. Johns River. including Astor. Water enters yards of properties on Bartram Road, Holiday Circle and along Wild Hog Road on the Lake County side. In Volusia County, water encroaches yards of homes on the river side of Alice Drive.
