The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM. Tampa Bay waters. At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 21 nm southeast of Hillsborough Bay to 10 nm east of Sarasota Bay to 10 nm northeast of Venice, moving west at 20 knots.

* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of west central Florida, including the following county, Manatee. * WHEN. Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 723 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Lakewood Ranch and Lake Manatee State Park. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
