Pinellas, Coastal Hillsborough, Coastal Manatee, Coastal Sarasota, Coastal Charlotte and Coastal Lee Counties. * WHEN. For the High Surf Advisory, until 2 PM EDT Saturday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

HLSTBW This product covers West Central and Southwest Florida **HELENE INLAND OVER TENNESSEE** NEW INFORMATION --------------- * CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - All watches and warnings have been canceled * CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - None * STORM INFORMATION: - About 410 miles north of Cedar Key FL - 35.1N 83.8W - Storm Intensity 45 mph - Movement North or 350 degrees at 32 mph SITUATION OVERVIEW ------------------ Helene is now well inland over Tennessee. The storm has now been downgraded to a tropical storm, and will continue to pull away through the day. As such, all wind and surge watches and warnings have been cancelled. POTENTIAL IMPACTS ----------------- * WIND: Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across West Central and Southwest Florida. * SURGE: Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across West Central and Southwest Florida. * FLOODING RAIN: Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across West Central and Southwest Florida. * TORNADOES: Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across West Central and Southwest Florida. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS ---------------------------------- * EVACUATIONS: Follow the advice of local officials. * OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION: Remain safely sheltered until conditions improve. When going outside be sure to stay away from downed power lines, hazardous debris and flooded areas. Do not attempt to return to evacuated areas until local authorities have inspected roads and bridges and have given the all clear. Hazards like downed power lines and trees, washed out roads, continued flooding in low lying areas and non-functioning traffic lights make travel difficult. Be alert for any lingering wind gusts which could take down weakened trees and/or power lines, collapse damaged structures, or cause flying debris. Be alert for potential flooding from rising rivers and streams which may have yet to crest. Remain informed of the latest river forecasts and heed any flood watches and warnings. Be alert for flooded roads which could be compromised or littered with debris. Avoid travel until water levels subside and roads have been cleared. Do not drive through places where flood waters cover the road. Cypress Creek At SR 54 Worthington Gardens affecting Pasco County. Alafia River At Lithia affecting Hillsborough County. Manatee River Near Myakka Head at SR 64 affecting Manatee County. For the Little Manatee. including Wimauma at US 301. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Little Manatee River at Wimauma at US 301. * WHEN. From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 13.0 feet, The canoe rental area floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 13.1 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History.
