* WHAT. Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures 107 to 113. * WHERE. San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning. * WHEN. From Sunday morning through Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. A prolonged period of extreme temperatures will exacerbate impacts from the heat. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. High temperatures will decrease slightly on Monday, but a much longer duration heat wave begins on Tuesday with highs slowly increasing through next weekend.

From Tuesday morning through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Heat could significantly impact outdoor holiday activities. Hottest temperatures are expected beginning Tuesday and continuing into next weekend. Area waterways will continue to run cold and fast, creating dangerous conditions for those seeking relief in rivers and lakes.
