Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Yellowjacket Creek at Hammett Rd below Hogansville. * WHEN. From early this morning until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding begins of the marshy wetlands and woods along the creek upstream and downstream from the stream gage on the Hammett Road bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 AM EDT Saturday was 8.0 feet. - Forecast. No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History. The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama. Georgia. Chattahoochee River at 14th Street at Columbus affecting Muscogee, Russell, Chattahoochee and Lee Counties. For the Chattahoochee River Basin. including Columbus. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and forecast. * WHERE. Chattahoochee River at 14th Street at Columbus. * WHEN. Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS. At 31.0 feet, Minor flooding continues along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the 14th Street bridge. Large portions of the River Walk in Columbus will be completely covered with flowing water up to 4 feet deep. Flood waters approach the maintenance doors underneath the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. The Phenix City Amphitheater in Alabama will be flooded up to 3 feet deep. Portions of the River Walk in Phenix City will be under one foot of water and will be closed to the public. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 PM EDT Friday /9:30 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was 29.0 feet. - Forecast.
