* WHAT. Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, Bamberg and Orangeburg. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 939 AM EST, emergency management reported that flooding is occurring in the warned area due to rain that fell Wednesday night. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no only light rainfall is anticipated on Monday. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. mainly rural areas of Northeastern Bamberg and Southwestern Orangeburg Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South Carolina. North Fork Edisto River At Orangeburg affecting Orangeburg County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. North Fork Edisto River at Orangeburg. * WHEN. Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 8.0 feet, Some minor flooding occurs along the boardwalk at Edisto Gardens. Downstream from the Highway 301 bridge, some roads off Chiquita street near the river begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:00 PM EST Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EST Saturday was 12.5 feet. - Forecast. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM EST Sunday was 10.4 feet. - Forecast.
